Hi! Is this your grandfather's first wife's immigration?:

...came on the "Chemnitz" arriving in New York on 18 May 1903?

I've thought for years that it may have been my great grandmother, Justina Trusz, who married my great grandfather Zachary Charles Kurko on 22 July 1905 at Saint Adalbert Roman Catholic Church in Dillonvale, Jefferson County, Ohio, but now I'm leaning toward this Justyna being your grandfather's first wife.

I think my great grandmother, Justina Trusz, was the "Hanka Trusz" who came on the "Blucher" with her future husband (my great grandfather Zachary Kurko) in 1902. Why her name was shown as Hanka remains a mystery to me.

My great grandmother, Justina Trusz Kurko was the daughter of Dimitri and Eva (Jarosz) Trusz. I know nothing about them, or any further ancestors. Justina was born 10 October 1886 in Dabrowica, Kurylówka, Lezajsk, Podkarpackie, Poland (then Austria). She had at least three brothers, John Trusz, and two brothers whose names are unknown to me. They supposedly all survived her, but never left the old country. Justina Trusz Kurko died 22 May 1933 in Bellaire, Belmont County, Ohio (on the street where my family has lived for almost 100 years). She had at least two sisters, whose names are highly likely to be Bessie and Mary Trusz, who survived her (they may have never left the old country). Another sister, Thecla Trusz Duda lived next door to me in Bellaire and died 17 December 1962.

I wish I knew more about my family. To date, I have no records from the old country.
