Thank you for the additional information.

It is interesting to see Josef Waldheger (48) on the same ship to the US on June 5, 1867 ('SS Baltic') when Anna was 20 years old. Doesn't that age difference seem large for a brother(?).

Anna married Frank Hefner in Aug. 1869 (Cleveland), when he already had a small child from a previous marriage. Frank, originally a marble polisher and brick layer, became a dealer in cigars, and died on Oct. 3, 1876, in Cleveland in some kind of accident resulting in a spinal injury. I have tried for a very long time to find out exactly what happened to him, but no luck at all. Anna then re-married, to a gunsmith named Alois Schutt.

Anna's first surviving child by Frank (in 1871) became a famous balloonist, acrobat, and inventor ('Prince Leo'). I once wrote an article about him and would be glad to send it to you, if you have a direct email address.

Thanks again, and best wishes,
