Congratulations on your mother's long life! If you can take a look at those pictures, there might be a clue. Can you scan both front and back, if there are ANY words on it? In my own family "pictures from the old country" were actually postcards, and had identifying characteristics. (Much to my surprise, I found a postcard from one of my husband's villages in my Dad's papers. I still haven't figure out why...)

I agree with Zlatica; a village name is needed. Your Jicinskys in particular arrived kind of early. Those ships' records are not usually helpful. But your Kopriva arrival records might be. Can you point us to the arrival record in Ancestry or another site? The home village was listed in some of the 1890s manifests.

Does Alois show his ethnicity in the US census or some other records? Some census takers recorded Bohemian for Moravians.
