I hope, that this thread still reaches aktive users:
I am searching for a JULIUS LÖWENSTEIN (Loewenstein), who was born 1897 in Banteln (Germany) and went 1911 to Göttingen (Goettingen) to work as a merchant's apprentice at the shop of LEOPOLD KATZ. 1933 he went to Sondershausen, where he lived in the Adolf-Hitler-Straße 35. There I lost trace...
I always had the thought, that the Löwensteins and the Katz are somehow related to each other. So maybe that`s why he worked at the shop as a young man.
Reasin for my search: I am organizing a memorial event for the football club 1. SC Göttingen 05. JULIUS LÖWENSTEIN, LUDOLF KATZ, ??? JACOBY, ??? STERN were the only known jewish members (due to a list from 1923).
Is ist possible, that my JULIUS LÖWENSTEIN could be part of the family you published here?
