"Aged Citizen Dies Monday Night"
Geo. Geisler, one of the best known and most highly respected citizen of Johnson county died at his home in the Sulphur Springs community Monday after a long illness. Mr Geisler was born in Austria on April 20, 1846 coming to the United States in his young boyhood.

For many years he and his family had lived at Bethlehem moving to their home where he died about five years ago.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Bolin, Methodist minister of Ft. Smith, on Tuesday afternoon at the Sulphur Springs cemetery.

Mr. Geisler is survived by his wife, five daughters and two sons.

Mesdames Ernest McDaniel and Clyde Laster are his daughters.

Daughters were married to (Jessie Ann) Luster Coffee, (Mary) Ed Turner/ Virgie Baskin, (Lucy) Roy Ogilvie, (Ollie) Ernest L. McDaniel, and (Maude) Clyde Laster.

Wife was Mary Stovall, first married to George D. Blackard (died 1875).

The Geisler family (George, Margaret, and mother Maria) is believed to have resided last in Uderns, Tirol, Austria between 1870-1880.
