TRENTON -- Helen M. Tilger, 100, died Saturday at Genesis Elder Care, Ewing Center.
Born in Austria-Hungary, she lived in Trenton most of her life before moving to Hamilton.
She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, its Ladies of Blessed Sacrament Society, and Holy Angels Roman Catholic Church.
Daughter of the late Matthew and Maria Zindl, wife of the late Joseph C. Tilger, sister of the late Mary Z. Gandner and Anna K. Pfieffer and aunt of the late Frank C. Gandner, she is survived by two nephews, John J. Gandner of Lawrenceville and Asher Pfieffer of Bordentown; a cousin, Elizabeth Horvath of Bellport, N.Y.; and great-nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Angels Roman Catholic Church.
Burial will be in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Hamilton Township.
Calling hours will be 8 to 9 a.m. Tuesday at Knott's Colonial Funeral Home, 2946 S. Broad St., Hamilton.
