WORCESTER-- Eugenia Colon, 57, of 714 Main St., died Friday, June 30, in UMass Memorial Medical Center -- Memorial Campus after an illness.
She leaves her husband, Francisco Parra; four sons, Ramon Santiago of Orlando, Fla., Pedro Santiago of Coamo, Puerto Rico, and Geraldo and Jose Santiago, both of Rockland, N.Y.; two daughters, Zaida Correa of the Bronx, N.Y., and Maira Santiago of Worcester; three brothers, Felix and Arcadio Colon and Pucho Borges, all of Coamo; three sisters, Maria Colon of Selenas, Puerto Rico, Antonia Colon of New York City, and Ramonita Colon of Worcester; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
She was born in Jayuia, Puerto Rico, daughter of Arcadio and Francisca (Borges) Colon.
The funeral will be held Monday, July 3, from Graham Putnam and Mahoney Funeral Parlor, 838 Main St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Peter's Church, 931 Main St. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery. Calling hours are from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, July 2, in the funeral home.
