Whitwell is the next village to Exton and both are in Rutland not Leicestershire, which is the next county.
I have been into St Peters and St Pauls Church of England many times and I haven't noticed any plaques mentioning the Hibbitt family (there may be but I haven't seen them)http://www.le.ac.uk/emoha/leicester/exton.html
There was a Methodist Chapel in Top Street Exton on the site of "Lyndons", this closed in 1905. A tin tabernacle made from the stable lads recreation hut was erected on the site of the Dairy in 1908, it closed in 1939.
John Hybot was born in Coleorton Leicester in 1690 http://www.leicestershirevillages.com/coleorton/
and as you say married his third wife Ann Tubbs who was born in Greetham Rutland in 1692 they married 29 May 1732 Exton and their 5 children were born and bap in Exton at St Peters and St Pauls Church of England
John had children in each of his marriages starting in 1715 -1749, 11 in total all Exton born and bap ( that I have found...there could be more)
