On their marriage certificate 1 January 1872, Mary McVittie's father John McVittie (Furnace Keeper) mother Mary Cranie. However on her death certificate she is the Widow of Thomas Boyce and died at 1.15pm on 21 December 1907 at Victoria Road, Nitshill, Barrhead, Renfrewshire. Daughter of John McVittie and Elizabeth Hughes, it was my great grandfather John who registered her death.
