Classification: Query
One small addition or alteration to the information on 1841, the census was taken on paper schedules left with the head of household and collected after the census day, it was a matter of what he or she asked the people in their household, rather than the enumerator
There are many errors in the census in all years, much would depend upon the knowledge of the head of household, he or she may have asked every individual living there, but might also have entered their best guess
Sadly the schedules were destroyed after the enumerator transcribed the details onto the pages we see online

One transcript of the full household with the Peter MCDONALD in follows as found on Ancestry
(there are no relationships recorded in 1841)
