There is an area in Tipperary known as locally as Carhue although I'm not sure that it's a townland. It forms part of the Parish of Annacarty north of Dundrum. Much of this is very sparsely populated and you won't find much in the way of towns or villages. It was an area inhabited by the old Irish.
