The 1841 UK Census I have identifies Irish born persons:

Thomas Feenarty age 30, Crosbie, St. Liverpool, Labourer

Thomas Feenarty age 1 Crosie St.There is no Rebecca listed in 1841 and the page has other names listed under Thomas Jr.

Thomas Fenerty age 35 Temple St. Bristol, Somerset, Labourer

There are only 9 Feneenary/Feenerty/Fenerty listed as born in Ireland in this 1841 Census.

The 1871 Census shows 12 Fenerty's but only 1 Thomas Fenarty born Mayho/Mayo Ireland age 48, Bolton Street, New Row, Iron Labourer
Mary 50, born Mahyo/Mayo
John 19 cotton peicec? writing difficult peicer? born Bolton
Thomas 17 info all same

No Rebecca 1871.

Don't know if there is a connection with these Thomas Finnerty's
Chelsea Pensioners Service Records:

The names of the first children should help you with the parents names, 1st. son after father or grandfather, 2nd. son after Rebecca's father.

PARISH records are available for Sligo on a not for profit history Foundation but there is a fee.
Fenerty's should be hard to find as there doesn't appear to be a lot of them.

There are a number of Census which you probably have, no other children I found had the parents names. You have those anyway. Where did they go after 1870?

Death registered in the District of Liverpool for Rebecca Finnerty age 85 December 1896
Vol.8b Pg.58 (you can follow this along and get a death certificate)

*Edward Finnerty Birth registered Sept 1851, District Liverpool, Vol. 20 Pg. 403

Rebecca Fenerty Birth registered Mar 1855, District Liverpool, Vol. 8b Pg.13

(did not find births for other children there-could be spellings-needs more patience)

The telephone book for Sligo shows 2 Finerty's both in Roscommon, 6 Finnerty in Sligo in Innisrone, Easky, Rathlee, Dromard. No Fenerty in Sligo. The phone book is spelling specific. + county United Kingdom+Ireland+County (not just census)
