Don't know if you have this information already or even interested but here goes anyway.

Ballysadare, Sligo is a Parish, a townland and a town. In the Poor Law Union of Sligo, Ballysadare or Killaspugbrone.

Moylough is a townland in the Parish of Achonry, Poor Law Union Tobercurry

A Poor Law Union and the later Civil Registration Districts administrated an area up to 12 mi. from
the named Union Town.

Griffith Valuation of Sligo 1858: census substitute

James Simpson Parish of Ballysadare, Townland of Tullaghan, Poor Law Union of Sligo
tenant of Major Chs. K. O'Hara

#1a house, outbuildings and land 379 acres 1 rood and 33 perches
included is a brick field (?)

Tithe's 1823-1837 for taxes: www,
1825 George Simpson, Parish Ballysadare Townlands listed are
Ballysadare, Stonepark, Cloonmacduff, Kilboglashy and Mullinashee

This can be 1 man with 5 properties or any combinations if there is more than one George.
This is not a complete Tithe record which is available in full at the National Archives in Dublin
it should have a property description like the Griffith Valuation, landlord, size of property, what it contains and the neighbours. I believe you can contact them and they will photocopy the Tithe
records for $$.

If interested in later families the 1901/1911 Census is on line at

1894 Directories of Ireland:

Private Residents: (usually people of means)
James Simpson, Coolaney, Sligo in the Parish of Killoran 5 mi. Ballisodare also listed are
Edward Simpson and a Thomas Simpson. a baptism and marriage pay website

RC Ballysadre and Kilvarnet baptisms from April 1842-Dec 1899 and marriages from Jan 1858 to Dec 1899.

Cof I Tubbercurry (St. Georges) baptisms from 1877-1900 and marriages 1846-1899

Moylough & Mountbellew baptism from 1848-1903 & marriages 1835-1903

The telephone book for Sligo has NO Simpsons, but there are 11 listed between Galway & Roscommon.
Bolton has 2 in Sligo;
Goulding 1 Galway, 1 Roscommon;
Powell Galway 11.

The National Library in Dublin does have some RC records but these were microfilm by the
Latter Days Saints and appear on their website + Sligo United Kingdom+Ireland+Sligo
both these resources have varying amounts of information sometimes Parish records and usually
gravestone inscriptions depending on the County
