If you happen to go to the GRO in Dublin the mothers maiden names are on the records from about 1904 to 1926, they just aren't on the online versions..

You can also use the downloadable form from the GRO and add a note requesting a research copy of a birth, death, or marriage cert if you have any identify details, or if you narrow a record down to a few you can send them all and ask that they only send you the one with a correct detail, like fathers name, address, mothers name, if your providing the volume and page numbers they don't need to do a search just check the references so it makes it easier...

Also when searching search with Irish versions of the surnames too along with untick Exact match on Familysearch has often brought up results for me..
