Any time frame for leaving Ireland? You are on the
Clare County message board or were they from Clare?
Did they marry before leaving Ireland, any children and where were they born and when if you know.
There is an Irish History Foundation, not for profit but fee paying that Clare is not a a member of. You can also search for a marriage as you have both names so you can search ALL Ireland with both names. A marriage record only gives both of their Father's
but also place/parish and county. All important for searching.
I believe Ancestry has RC parish records and also www.familysearch.org
(you have to look down the side on the main page and find UK/Ireland, click, follow that page down to Ireland.
1850's Griffith Valuations are available on two sources
(simple version, name parish and townland. Good for matching up Parish's with the two different names.www.askaboutireland.ie
a detailed source with Poor Law Union, Parish and townland as well as property descriptions with detail.
RC or Protestant. I have Church of Ireland/Protestant marriages from 1845-1862. Anything after 1864 you should be able to find on www.familysearch.org
