There are two resources for birth and marriages records for Northern Ireland: free to view, pay for records pay to view, pay for record

I have a CD with Civil Registrations from 1864-1875 and no record of Thomas so he must of been born before 1864.

I did find a Thomas 1871 but parents different.

No children are listed from 1864-1875 with parents James Toner and Ann McGuiness in Armagh, or anywhere in that period in Ireland.

Griffith Valuation is used as a census substitute and took place in 1863 in Co.Armagh

James Toner's lived in 7 Parish's and Mcguiness in 5 of those. Too many to peg them together. a simple Griffith Valuation

Look up Hughes to find the name in Crossmaglen Townland in the Parish of Creggan, Poor Law Union Castleblayney

There was 1 James Toner and 11 McGuiness in Parish Creggan.

I've looked at and found there are few births records for Armagh so no wonder you can't find anything, CofI marriages from 1845-1921

Creggan CofI only marriages 1845-1921
Derrynoose has both churches RC births from 1814 with gaps and CofI same only marriages 1845-1921
Ballymore RC births from 1798-1802 and marriages from 1831-1900.

1901/1911 Census:

1901: 7 Thomas, 1 aged 40(about right) not in 1911 census
Farmer, he is alone at Mountnorris, Townland Corrinure,

1911: There is a Thomas and a Margaret but Thomas is 60 married 25 years, 6 children born 5 living

Cullyhanna is in the Parish of Creggan

There is an Ann Toner 82, living with son Francis, housekeeper and widow she is living in Carran townland, Armahague is the Dedicated Electoral District.

Carran is a townland in the Parish of Creggan, Union of Castleblaney

Haven't been able to solve your connection between Ann and James Toner.

Ann Toner death registered April-June 1903 age 97, estimated year of birth based on age given at death (1806)
Vol.1, Pg. 35, #4201706

Mary Ann Toner death registered Oct-Dec 1908 age 80, estimated year of birth based on age given at death (1828)
Vol. 1 Pg. 19 #4201708

There is so many gaps in Irish genealogy and records available it maybe very difficult. You might be able to find gravestone inscriptions that make the connection. Heritage & Museum societies often collection gravestone inscriptions and put them in journal form.

There are 51 Toner's still living in Armagh.
