I am temporarily living in Chennai, India, and purchased a book on the history of St. Mary's Church, "The Church in the Fort, A History of St. Mary's" (Fort St. George and the East India Company) which lists over 490 names (300 surnames) of (mostly British) people buried at St. Mary's, who were members here, or served as chaplains or teachers. The English first settled in Chennai in about 1637A.D. Records from the church history book begin in 1677. I would be glad to do look-ups. This is not a cemetery listing for the St. Mary's Cemetery here in Chennai, just names from church records and the names from tombstones and monuments inside the church and on the church grounds.
