Subject: Evaline (Ferryman) Switzer

Surnames: Switzer, Ferryman

Hi all,

I'm going to try this question a different way. If someone was on the 1856 state census for Richland Township and their husband was on the 1860 census for Richland Township without them, what cemetery would that person most likely have been buried in? Or, put another way, which cemeteries around Richland township have burials beginning in 1860?

The person in question is Evaline (Ferryman) Switzer. Family folklore would place her death in late 1859 or early 1860, but I can't find her on the mortality schedule for 1860 for Decatur County. Her husband, Stephen, moved on to Wayne County and is listed in Grand River township, Wayne County, 1895 census with a (D) which indicates he most likely died in 1894. I also cannot find where he was buried.

Thanks!

Martha
