Dear Diane
This is wonderful information. I was so surprised to see the messages re Rickner/Trussler. Charlotte Annie was my father's mother and of course did not ask all the questions when I was a kid. I was born in 1936 so we have two more generations past me. Charlotte Annie was born Dec. 7,1880. After I read all the information, I called my cousin and said, we have to go to Quebec to look through the cemetery, where our grandparents are buried. Charlotte Annie was born in England and came to Canada when she was 8 according to census. I had forgotten about the information I had from the stones I found in Sherbrooke Quebec and didn't even think about there being no husband mentioned on Ellen's stone. I read all the stuff on the message board you sent to Sue in Australia but would love anything else you have. I guess we must be distant cousins. Nice to meet you! Thanks so much. There looks like there were 2 Trussler/Rickner marriages. Did I mention that I had twin brothers and one had the second name of Rickner?

Anne (I was named after my grandmothers)
