Mrs. Mary D. Wright Dies Yesterday
Mrs. Mary Delphia Tennant Wright, aged 77 years, resident of Fairview, died
yesterday in her home.
She was the widow of William Henry Wright. A son, Leslie, is at home. Another
son, James is deceased. There are five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Mrs. Wright leaves a sister, Mrs. Alice Moore, of Core.
Burial was at St. Luke's Cemetery

Mary J. Staggers Wright, 89, of 1505 Fourth St, Monogahela, (formerly of Waynesburg), died at 12:30 a.m. Thursday, May 18, 1972 at Monongahela. She had not been in the best of health for several months.
She was born December 20, 1882 in Jackson Township, near Delphene, a daughter of the late Thomas Jefferson and Rebecca Rush Staggers. Her husband, Norton R. Wright, died June 15, 1945.
Mrs Wright spent her early years in the Brave area, lived in Waynesburg for several years, and resided in Monongahela for the past two years.
Mrs Wright was a member of the Washington Street United Methodist Church, and the WSCS of the church. She was also a member of the Women's Bible Class.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Barbara Houston of Crossett, Ark., one son, Paul M. of Monongahela; one grandson, Paul N. Wright of Chicago, Ill., six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
One infant ? (word can not be read) and one brother, George W. Staggers preceded her in death.Wright- Friends of Mary J. Mildred K. White Wright, 77, of Orlando, Florida, formerly of Waynesburg, died Monday, May 2, 1988, in the Orlando Lutheran Towers.
She was born Aug. 21, 1910, in Hundred, W. Va., a daughter of Thomas J. and Bess Kennedy White.
She was a graduate of Waynesburg College. She was a former resident of Waynesburg and resided since 1946 in Orlando.
She was a retired teacher and taught many years in the St. John’s Lutheran School in Winter Park, Florida. She also was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church.
Her husband, Kenneth M. Wright, died in 1978.
She is survived by a niece, Deborah Williams of St. Paul, Minn., and two nephews, Andrew Christopher Jones and Jayson Everett Jones, both of Upper St. Clair.
A sister, Marie W. Dobbins, is deceased.
Graveside services for Mildred K. Wright of Orlando, Florida, formerly of Waynesburg, who died Monday, May 2, 1988, will be held at 11 A. M. Monday, May 9, in the Oakmont Cemetery, Waynesburg, with the More:Rev. Douglas A. Bryan officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Behm Funeral Home Inc., 182 West High Street, Waynesburg.

Mrs. Minnie Alice Wright, 87, of Rt. 1 Fairview, died Friday morning in her
home. She was born April 17, 1889, a daughter of the late A.F. and Susan
Haught Tennant.Survivors include her husband, W.C. Wright, whom she married 62 years ago;
two sons and a daughter, Glendon Wright of Morgantown; Wilbert Wright of
Palm Beach Garden, Fla.; Mrs. Romaine Tennant of Rt. 1 Fairview; a sister,
Mrs. Ernest Toothman of Harbor Creek, Pa., nine grandchildren and 12 great
grandchildren. Three brothers, a sister and a grandchild are deceased.

Ralph W. Sine, 82, of Blacksville, died Friday April 24, 1998 in Monongalia
General Hospital.
He was born August 4, 1915, in Daybrook, a son of the late Jacob Lonnie and
Myrtle Belle Wright Sine.
He was a member of the Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Local 152 and had worked as
a pipe fitter for 45 years before his retirement. He owned and operated
Ralph's lawn Mower Service for many years. He was a veteran of WWII, a member
of Blacksville United Church and a member and past president of the
Blacksville Community Volunteer Fire Co.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Nellie V. Gump Sine, one daughter and
son-in-law, Sandra and Francis "Butch" Throckmorton of Blacksville, one
brother, Fred Sine of Morgantown, two sisters, Betty Spiker of Morgantown and
Norma Kennedy of Laurel Point; one granddaughter, Lisa Throckmorton.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one grandson, Jason
L. Throckmorton, and three great grandchildren, Dillon Roy, Kindra Hope and
Devan Chase; three brothers, Floyd, Lonnie and Jim Sine.
Burial was at Olive Cemetery

Carmichaels, April 3- Miss Nora Ellen Wright, 75, of Carmichaels, chief
telephone operator here for 25 years, died Wednesday, April 2, 1947, at
9:25 p.m. in the Greene County Memorial Hospital, after a three-week
Miss Wright was born March 1, 1872 at Ceylon, Cumberland Township, and
was a daughter of Benjamin Franklin and Margaret Chalfant Wright. She
resided at the corner of Main and George Streets.
She had been employed as a telephone operator at Carmichaels since June
1913 and was chief operator since the company consolidated 25 years

She leaves a sister, Mrs. Amelia Alice Shearer of Fayette City RD; a
brother Charles Albert Wright, Brentwood; eight nieces and four nephews.

He was a Air Force Veteran of World War 11. He was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Wright. Surviving are his wife, Rose Shopper Wright; his mother, Gertrude Sommers Wright of Bellaire; a daughter, Mrs. William “Susan” Dodds of Bellaire; three grandchildren. Friends will be received at Grisell-Schenk, Funeral Home, Dunaway Chapel, 37th and Belmont St., Bellaire, 7-9 P.M. Monday, 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. Tuesday. Arrangements are incomplete.

Mrs. Pearl A Wright, 57, of Burgettstown, RD1, died Saturday, August 7, 1971, in St John's Hospital, Steubenville, Ohio.
She was born May 22, 1914 in Deep Valley and had been a resident of the Burgettstown area 38
Mrs. Wright was a former member of the Ladies Auxillary of the Hanover Township, Volunteer Fire Department aid, was a member of the Tucker(?) United Methodist Church.
On September 13, 1931, she married Victor Wright, who survives.
Also surviving are six sons, Charles S. of Florence, Frederick, of Follansbee, W. Va, Clair E. of Burgettstown, RD 2, Victor Jr, of Burgettstown RD 1, Larry stationed in Alabama with the United States Army, Garry at home, three daughters, Mrs. Ruby Wright of New Cumberland W. VA, Mrs. Nancy Thompson of Burgettstown RD 2, Rhonda L. at home; four brothers, Earl Barnhart, James and Hubert all of Deep Valley, Robert of Brugettstown, one sister, Florence Riggs of Deep Valley and 14 grandchildren.
