Juanita L. "Nita" Kline, 76, retired teller with Midland National Bank, died Saturday (Dec. 30, 2000) at Newton Medical Center.

She was born July 20, 1922, to Floyd and Elsie (Hinton) Hohman in Stockdale. They preceded her in death. She married Jack Kline Dec. 11, 1943. He survives.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church. She enjoyed her church, sewing, cooking pies and growing roses.

Other survivors include: a son, Jim Kline of Minneapolis, Minn.; a daughter, Diane Kline of Topeka; a brother, Bob Hohman of Fort Worth, Texas; a sister, Pat Erickson of Leonardville; and two grandchildren.

She also was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services were 2 p.m. today at Petersen Funeral Home. Chaplain Pam Martinez officiated.

Burial was in Whitewater Cemetery.
