Would like to start a new thread regarding any von Lindemans that lived in St. Thomas/St Croix between the 1800's and about 1870's.

When I attempt to follow up with individuals, the postings are 17 years old in some cases or the people have not entered ancestry for 8+ months.

My gg(g) came to St Thomas in the early 1800's -- Carl von Lindeman and Emilie Alice Bithorn. The Bithorn line, I believe in more in St. Croix. The family also married into the Dickinson. They owned an estate on St. Thomas. If I am not mistaken, the Bithorn line still owns Cruzan Rum business. My line moved to Panama in the late 1800's. The Lindemanns originally were from Prussia (Saxony Germany). The von Lindeman's married Nelthropps.

I am hoping that years later in this board, there are individuals (with more technology in play), looking for this family. Please feel free to contact me:
