My understanding is that all Santana's originated from Spain. There we were know as Santa Ana. There were a group of Santa Ana brothers who fled Spain during the mid to late 1800's and ended up in the Caribbean. Some changed there names to Santana. That's why you'll find Santana's spread from Venezuela, Trinidad, P.R, D.R, Cuba. They mainly migrated to the Latin locations across the Caribbean.
