Speed of data entry on foreign-language projects may greatly be improved by setting up an alternate keyboard that supports the language.

For Polish I recommend the Polish Programmers keyboard as it is basically a standard QWERTY keyboard with the Polish characters entered by use of the RIGHT-ALT+Letter combinations. This key is called AltGR.

AltGr + a = ą AltGr + c = ć AltGr + e = ę AltGr + l = ł AltGr + n = ń AltGr + o = ó AltGr + z = ż AltGr + x = ź
