What is the difference between arbitration and the single pass/review process?

-
In arbitration you are checking on the differences between what two keyers have submitted and in single pass/review you are checking what one keyer has submitted. This means that instead of reviewing where the differences are you are checking every field.

Download & Open a Review image set

Currently you will see the Arbitration and Review image sets under the Review tab. Projects that still contain arbitration image sets are denoted with a red asterisk.
File:Download.png

Open the image set by double clicking on the image set or by highlighting the image set and clicking on the Open Image set button.

Check form types

Just as in keying you will check the form type for each image in the image set. If the form type is incorrect you will need to click on Change and select the correct form type.
If you change forms from an Image with no data or Cover page, Section header to a form that should have been keyed you will need to enter the data from the record.

Review Fields

Going field by field you will need to “accept” what the Keyer has submitted or enter the correct information. As you move from field to field you will notice the color of the fields change from white to a tan color – this is showing the work you have done. If you change the entry for a field it will turn purple.
File:Purplefield.png

By scrolling over a field you have changed you can view the original data. If you need to revert back to the original data that the keyer entered while you are on the field click on Alt+V.
File:Originalvalues.png

If you enter an option that is not in the dictionary you will still need to F7 to accept it.
File:F7validation.png

If you encounter an image where there are no records keyed, for example a Cover page form, you will see the following message. File:Norecordsentered.png

Rejecting the Image Set

If the image set has not been completed correctly - the majority of the records weren't keyed, or if the form types were incorrectly selected resulting in the records not being keyed at all - you will need to reject the image set so it can be keyed by another contributor. To reject the image set click on Review and then select Reject Image Set.
File:Rejectimagesetreview.png

In deciding whether to reject an image set or correct the image set in Review consider the time it will take for a contributor to key the records again and the time it will take for you to make corrections. If it will take you more time to correct than it would for a contributor to key the image set again then reject the image set.

Create a New Section

If you need to create a new section click on the line above where the new section should start, then click on the Add Section icon.
File:Addsection.png

You will see a new pop-up asking about moving the rows.
File:Moverows.png

If you say “yes” you will see the new section with the remaining rows – note in the example below that you will need to enter Header information for the new section.
File:Newsection.png

If you need to remove a section you will see this pop-up – and selecting yes will move the records from the current section to the previous section.
File:Newsectionwarning.png

Finish the image set

Complete the Review and Submit the image set.

Feedback

After clicking on the submit confirmation the Feedback Survey will pop up – this will happen for each image set. Select all of the items that apply. This article explains more about each of the survey options.

File:Missedfield.png
For this image set the keyer consistently missed keying multiple fields.

Once you have submitted your feedback the image set is complete.
