Need help keying this project?

Project Instructions This project contains registers of Alehouse licenses issued in the West Yorkshire area. We will be keying name, licence date, city or borough and public house. Many registers contain the name of the person who held the license, the name and location of the public house, dates the license was issued and renewed and if the license was transferred. There are also registers of license infraction and beer house licenses.

Sometimes the record is split across multiple images. Please key the names that appear on BOTH images. This means you will be keying information from the right side of the page even though the image is of the left side.

If an image contains a mix of dates before and after the privacy cut-off date, the image should still be classified as the "Licence Register" form type and all records should be keyed.

If ALL the dates on the image are from 1963 to the present, it should be classified as "Post 1962 Content". Images that are lists of names and page numbers should be classified as "Index".
