This is a collection of books containing names of the staff that served in WWI and WWII. All of the lists contain names, and some may contain information relating to birth, death, and military promotions.

This is a collection of books containing names of the staff that served in WWI and WWII. All of the lists contain names, and some may contain information relating to birth, death, and military promotions.
Narratives of battles, with details of assignments will also be included. Key the names of all people mentioned in these narratives, their birth and death dates and birth places, where available. When keying names do not key any ranks into the prefix or suffix field.
Pages of photographs are also included in this collection. Key the names in the photo captions, with applicable birth and death dates.
Do not key any names from the appendix pages or indexes. If a page is marked as an appendix, select the "Cover page, Section header, etc." form type. If an image is of an index, select the "Index" form type.

Key the Death Year from the death date. If the record has a 2 year digit and you can determine the 4 year digit. For this project we know deaths in the wars will be the twentieth century (19XX).

Additional Image Samples
Use the "Cover page, Section header, etc." type for images that don't contain any data, but might be interesting to look at because they provide some type of context for the image set. For instance, historical notes, affidavits, and so forth.
For this project this will include images that contain no names, or are appendix pages. See the sample images for further clarification.
Index
Index images will contain names, followed by page numbers. Do not key any names from index images.
