Project Instructions This collection contains population schedules for both cities and counties in Kansas. They include information about agriculture and livestock from the year, as well as the name of the head of each family in the township.

Information is being keyed from title page images and any images that contain names. The majority of the images will not have names and should be marked as "Cover Page, Section Header, etc."

Note: 5 images will be downloaded per image set. Because of the way the images are organized, some sets will have no names to key, and some will have as many as 30 names to key.

If you come across records where there is an individual listed with a surname and others listed below without a surname (generally this is the head of household and their family) please copy the surname down until you encounter the next surname.
