The Western Pennsylvania Genealogical Society is housed in the Pennsylvania Department of the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh. The Genealogical Society covers the western twenty-six counties in the state and publishes Western Pennsylvania Genealogical Society Quarterly and the newsletter Jots from the Point.
