Q: I have a form here that appears to be part of a crew list (page 6, continuing with more information for the crew members on page 7 of it, to be exact). It has no date at the top of it, nor does it have a birth year column. Many of the crew member's first names are abbreviated as well. However, it has a "Wages per Week" column and "To whom to be paid" column, along with a whole slew of information pertaining to fishing ("Share of Fishing Profits", "Character" columns, "Discharge" columns, etc.) The other document in this image set was pertaining to a fishing expedition, which I marked as "Cover page, etc.", but it also contained a date. And thus, I have several questions. Should I use the date from the previous document to key this one and to properly assess the birth year of those in the crew list? Should I just assume all of the crew members nationalities as "British"? (I know the project instructions ask you to name the town if the person is British, but if I already listed the town name do you really need to list it again? The town names of the crew members are as follows: London, Liverpool, Gorleston, Peel, Gorleston, Liverpool, Birkenhead, Birkenhead, Yarmouth, Liverpool, Scarborough, Liverpool, Liverpool, Liverpool, Liverpool) Do I leave the keying information areas not listed on the document simply blank? Do I even key this document? I find the whole thing very perplexing.

Answer: Only if the forms are blank should the record be considered an Image with no data. So if the record is not a Ship Information form but there is information written on the record then it should be classified as a Cover page, Section header. Annafechter 17:08, 6 January 2012 (UTC)
