I am keying honeymoon records from Niagra Falls and have suddenly come across many entries with Chinese characters. Do I indicate it as illegible (which by definition is not accurate) or is there some other way to tag it for submission to those who may be literate in their written language?

A: The instructions for entering names state, "Do not key Japanese or Chinese characters.". We are not entering the names written in Japanese or Chinese - only the "English" names. Our site is not currently set up to display these characters. Annafechter (talk) 09:37, 21 October 2015 (MDT)
