Can you please tell me what d.s.p means prior to a date
assume it's an abbreviation to do with the death date but want to be certain before i key it, ta
- A: It means decessit sine prole which is Latin for died without issue, i.e. without having any children. Just needs to be keyed as a normal death date. --Katerimmer 23:36, 6 March 2013 (UTC)
Brilliant! thank you
I know this is the wrong place to put this so feel free to delete once i've been answered but can someone tell me where to ask a general question about another record (in particular the London electoral records)? i have already contacted support who didn't know ta
- A: If it is a general question about the London electoral records then the best place would be the London general message board:
but if it is about a particular family you would be best to ask it on the message board for that surname. --Katerimmer 10:39, 7 March 2013 (UTC)
