:Q: Can you please explain what the Birth Day, Birth Month, and Birth Year fields are used for, since the keying image samples show that Event Day, Event Month, and Event Year should be used to key the date of birth for Birth entries? I think this is going to confuse a lot of keyers and that perhaps you should consider removing this project and rethinking the date fields before releasing it again. --[[User:Katerimmer|Katerimmer]] ([[User talk:Katerimmer|talk]]) 03:39, 25 August 2017 (MDT)

:Q: Regarding the reviewer comment above, I don't see where we are only to key the right page publication year when an event year is missing.  The project instructions read "Where the year is missing, the publication year at the top of the image should be keyed."  My understanding is that could be the left page publication year, as well (although I would not make a separate section for that).  Please clarify?

Feel free to add to or edit information in this discussion tab as necessary. Please take time to become familiar with the World Archives Keying Standards and be sure to read all instructions on the main project page. (Please note that in case of a discrepancy, project level instructions always trump general keying standards.)

Extra Keying Helps

Common Keying Errors Found by Reviewers

Some keyers are making two sections per image, one for the left-hand page and one for the right-hand page, with the Publication Dates for the sections taken from the respective pages, but the Project Instructions make it clear that only the date from the right-hand page should be keyed, so the extra section is not necessary. --Katerimmer (talk) 03:18, 25 August 2017 (MDT)
