Talk:World Archives Project: Abden, Fife, Scotland, Poor Law Records, 1888-1940
Feel free to add to or edit information in this discussion tab as necessary. Please take time to become familiar with the World Archives Keying Standards and be sure to read all instructions on the main project page. (Please note that in case of a discrepancy, project level instructions always trump general keying standards.)
Extra Keying Helps
It's probably too late for this as all image sets have already been downloaded for keying, but:
A name in the format "Jane Smith Brown" should be keyed as Given: Jane Smith, Surname: Brown
A name in the format "Mary McDonald or Armstrong" should be keyed as Given: Mary, Surname: McDonald. Armstrong would be ignored. --Katerimmer (talk) 03:28, 16 June 2017 (MDT)
