Sullivan is a county in Tennessee. It was formed in 1779 from the following county/ies: Washington Dist., Va.. Sullivan began keeping birth records in 1881, marriage records in 1861, and death records in 1881. It began keeping land records in 1775, probate records in 1830, and court records in 1861.
