St. Francois is a county in Missouri. It was formed in 1821 from the following county/ies: Jefferson/Ste. Genevieve/Washington. St. Francois began keeping birth records in 1883–93, marriage records in 1836, and death records in 1883–90. It began keeping land records in 1822, probate records in 1822, and court records in 1822.
