		+	However, if there are names at the top and they aren't the same as the parents names, then they aren't required to be entered on there for that record. Since they are required for the record, it may create some issues if you do enter them in since you would have to enter their names into a new row, which would make them appear as if they were deceased as well and could count against you, so I would recommend not entering them into the information that you key.

-	Q: Concerning Alias names, I may be over thinking this. The last name is different, so I key the alias surname. The corrected card lists the given name as "Martin". The alias given name is "Martin F". Is the card indicating that the middle initial is incorrect since it was not included in the corrected given name, therefore I type the given name as seen "Martin" and type the alias given name as "Martin F". OR do I expand the corrected given name of "Martin" to include the middle initial? This hasn't happened often, but when it does, I'm not sure which way to handle it.

Q: I am working on the 1943 Kansas census and I'm seeing military ranks on several people.  Do we key those?  I'm also seeing soldier and pvt in parentheses after some names.  Do we key those anywhere?  I asked the question on the message board and they suggested I ask the question here.

I was born in Oakland California, in February 1952 to Morton Betts Huntington and Elizabeth J. Lindeman (nee Hansler) who had left Brooklyn, probably in mid to late 1951, to avoid the scandal of my impending birth-I suppose. My brother Paul was born in Omaha Nebraska, in May 1954, and my parents were married in Carson City Nevada sometime between 1954 and 1957 when my father died of complications during an operation to remove part of his cancerous lung. He was trying to buy a little time, to see Paul and I grow for a little while at least.
I am sorry that I did not get the chance to know him, he was (by the few accounts I have heard) a kind and thoughtful man.
