Scioto is a county in Ohio. It was formed in 1803 from the following county/ies: Adams. Scioto began keeping birth records in 1856, marriage records in 1804, and death records in 1856. It began keeping land records in 1803, probate records in 1810, and court records in 1809. For more information, contact the county at 602 Seventh St., Portsmouth 45662.
