Sawyer is a county in Wisconsin. It was formed in 1883 from Ashland and Chippewa Counties. Sawyer began keeping birth records in 1869, marriage records in 1883, and death records in 1883. It began keeping land records in 1883, probate records in 1900?, and court records in 1883. For more information, contact the county at 10610 Main St., P.O. Box 836, Hayward 54843.
