San Augustine is a county in Texas. It was formed in 1836 (organized 1837) from the following county/ies: Old Mexican Municipality. San Augustine began keeping birth records in 1903, marriage records in 1837, and death records in 1903. It began keeping land records in 1833, probate records in 1837, and court records in 1837.
