Saline is a county in Nebraska. It was formed in 1855 (1867) from the following county/ies: original. Saline began keeping birth records in ——, marriage records in 1866, and death records in ——. It began keeping land records in 1867, probate records in 1867, and court records in 1866. For more information, contact the county at 215 S. Court/P.O. Box 865, Wilber 68465-0865. On the attached map, Saline is located at J6. *Originally named Johnston when created in 1855 from organized lands. Absorbed into Saline County in 1856.
