Roscommon is a county in Michigan. It was formed in 1840 (1875) (as Mikenauk; renamed 1843) from the following county/ies: Mackinac *Cheboygan/*Midland. Roscommon began keeping birth records in 1874, marriage records in 1877, and death records in 1874. It began keeping land records in 1875, probate records in 1875, and court records in 1875.
