Polk is a county in Tennessee. It was formed in 1839 from the following county/ies: Bradley/McMinn. Polk began keeping birth records in 1908, marriage records in 1894, and death records in 1908. It began keeping land records in 1894, probate records in 1873, and court records in 1840. For more information, contact the county at Hwy 411/P.O. Box 158, Benton 37307-0158.
