Polk is a county in Minnesota. It was formed in 1858 (1879) from the following county/ies: Pembina/*Crow Wing/*Douglas/*Polk/*Clay. Polk began keeping birth records in 1873, marriage records in 1873, and death records in 1873. It began keeping land records in 1873, probate records in 1877, and court records in 1879.
