Oxford is a county in Maine. It was formed in 1805 from the following county/ies: York/Cumberland. Oxford began keeping marriage records in 1830–75 now located at the Maine State Archives. It began keeping land records in 1805, and probate records in 1805. For more information, contact the county at 26 Western Ave. South Paris 04281-1417. On the attached map, Oxford is located at B11.
