Oceana is a county in Michigan. It was formed in 1831 (1851) from the following county/ies: Michilimackinac *Kent/*Ottawa. Oceana began keeping birth records in 1867, marriage records in 1867, and death records in 1868. It began keeping land records in 1846, probate records in 1900, and court records in 1859.
