How can I find the names?
An index of many pre-1914 gravestone inscriptions in North Carolina cemeteries is in the Search Room at the North Carolina State Archives. The FHL has a microfilm copy of the index, while both the North Carolina State Archives and the FHL have collections of cemetery records, arranged by county.
