Nevada is a county in California. It was formed in 1851 from the following county/ies: Yuba. Nevada began keeping birth records in 1873, marriage records in 1856, and death records in 1873. It began keeping land records in 1856, probate records in 1856, and court records in 1856. For more information, contact the county at 950 Maidu Ave, Nevada City 95959-8617.
