Monmouth is a county in New Jersey. It was formed in 1683 from East Jersey Province. The Earliest Land Deed was recorded in 1766/1667. The Surrogate's records begin in 1785/1804 . The mailing address of the county Surrogate's Court is Hall of Records Freehold 07728-1265. For more information, contact the county at Hall of Records, Rm. 111 1 East Main St. Freehold 07728-1251.
