Menominee is a county in Michigan. It was formed in 1861 (as Bleeker; renamed 1863) from the following county/ies: unorganized *St. Joseph/ *Kalamazoo. Menominee began keeping birth records in 1863, marriage records in 1867, and death records in 1860. It began keeping land records in 1850, probate records in 1868, and court records in 1861.
